Groundwater Treatment
As one of the first innovators in the in-situ treatment of affected groundwater, we provide engineering design, bench and pilot testing for groundwater treatment. MECX
provides equipment, chemicals and management for the removal and destruction of organic and inorganic contaminants in the environment.
With our treatability lab in Houston, we ensure the optimal treatment process for each system we treat. Our engineered and innovative low-pressure closed-loop recirculation program distributes biodegradable solvents and oxidants to effectively contact the multiple in which contaminants reside.
MECX’s engineered approaches provide rapid recovery options free phase organics and destruction of residual dissolved mass.

Building on our extensive groundwater chemical treatment background and civil engineering background, we have developed superior relationships with water treatment chemical and equipment suppliers to provide potable and process-water treatment services to municipal and industrial clients.
MECX
provides the engineering, permitting, chemicals, equipment, training and operations and maintenance (O&M) support with a team of innovative professionals and support staff.
We provide full-service evaluation of both hot and cold-water systems. This includes cross connection surveys, backflow prevention, chlorination, secondary disinfection and scold surveys and Legionella remediation services.
Boiler and Chiller Systems
Ensuring employee safety, system efficiency and maintenance are essential elements for the optimal operation of facility water systems. With our experienced team, MECX
provides the planning, monitoring, treatment chemicals, equipment, and services necessary to ensure operational success.
Starting with water management planning, MECX
identifies the systems in a facility and then develops a plan to optimally treat monitor and operate each system. This includes treatment of each system for corrosion protection and biological management. Monitoring of these treatment programs is essential for safe operation and maintenance of the systems. Monitoring for biological indicators such as Legionella ensures a safe and healthy work environment. Monitoring of the corrosion prevention parameters ensures extended life and efficient operations of water systems.
